Criminal
  Restraining/Protection Orders

If you have been accused of a crime against a person or against a business, you very likely have also been served with a Restraining/Protection Order which generally requires that you have no contact with the individual or the entity. Additionally, the Restraining/Protection Order may prohibit you from possessing any firearms and may contain a multitude of other restrictions.

If you violate the terms of the Restraining/Protection Order, you have committed a separate criminal offense with very serious consequences including jail. Thus, do not guess at the meaning of the provisions of the Restraining/Protection Order.

Our Firm can help you understand the conditions of your Restraining/Protection Order, advise you on how to comply with the Order and avoid violating the Order, and, when appropriate, assist you in modifying the Order.
